A virtual Model United Nations conference connecting high school students from around the world through meaningful diplomatic simulation.
Our purpose is to empower students to become confident, informed, and responsible global citizens by giving them meaningful opportunities to engage with international issues and diverse perspectives. We aim to create a supportive environment where young people can develop leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills while learning the value of diplomacy, cooperation, and respectful dialogue. Through accessible virtual conferences, GlobalMUN seeks to inspire students to take initiative, broaden their understanding of the world, and prepare to make thoughtful contributions to their communities and the global society.
Our mission is to make Model United Nations accessible to students around the world by providing high-quality virtual conferences that promote leadership, diplomacy, and global awareness. We aim to create opportunities for students to engage in meaningful discussions about international issues while developing the skills needed to become confident and responsible global citizens.
GlobalMUN offers realistic online Model United Nations conferences where students can participate in structured debates, collaborate with peers from different countries, and gain valuable experience in public speaking and problem-solving. Delegates receive official certificates of participation and access to preparation materials designed to help them succeed throughout the conference.
GlobalMUN welcomes high school students from around the world who are interested in global issues, leadership, and diplomacy. Students of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including those who are new to Model United Nations.
Delegates who participate in GlobalMUN will receive an official Certificate of Participation, opportunities to develop public speaking and leadership skills, and the chance to collaborate with students from different countries in a professional and engaging conference environment.

Process
Joining GlobalMUN is simple. Follow these five steps to secure your place at the conference.
Complete the GlobalMUN delegate application form by providing your personal information and answering several short questions about your interest in diplomacy and international affairs. A $20 application fee is required to submit the form.
All applications are carefully reviewed by the GlobalMUN Secretariat. Selected delegates will receive an acceptance email with further instructions regarding conference participation and next steps.
Accepted delegates must confirm their participation by completing the $70 conference participation fee. Once confirmed, delegates will officially secure their place in the conference.
After confirming participation, delegates will receive their assigned country, committee information, and conference preparation materials to help them prepare for debate.

The Story Behind the Mission
In many rural municipalities across Colombia — in the mountains of Antioquia, the valleys of Boyacá, the coasts of Bolívar — schools run on almost nothing. Teachers do extraordinary work with insufficient tools, and students arrive hungry to learn with no guarantee of the resources they need to do so.
GlobalMUN was built from a belief that the next generation of diplomats, thinkers, and leaders can come from anywhere — including those villages. We exist to help make that possible, one student at a time, on both sides of the transaction.
